Who You’ll Be Working With


You’ll be joining our Technical Support Team to provide state-of-the-art service to GetInsured customers. You will also work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure prompt resolution of customer reported problems. You will have a strong relationship with and constant communication with Product Management, to convey customer enhancement requests and ideas to enrich product functionality and usability. 


What You’ll Be Doing  


We are looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer who will be responsible for the following:


  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, application and database related in the SaaS environment
  • Conduct clear and concise internal and external communication
  • Communication with customers to quickly understand the root of their problems
  • Talk clients through a series of actions, and get to a resolution that solves their technical issue
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
  • Refer to internal resources to provide accurate technical solutions
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues simultaneously
  • Document accumulated technical knowledge (lessons learned, processes, etc.)
  • Maintain relationships with clients based on integrity and trust
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues which encompass a wide range of services
  • Function within a team and be a self-directed individual contributor


The Experience You'll Need


  • Proven work experience with SQL reports
  • Hands-on experience with SQL query analyzer
  • Scripting experience
  • Familiarity with Linux commands
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues which encompass a wide range of services
  • Familiarity with JIRA
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field


Additional Experience We Would Love to Have


  • Certification in database management or similar technologies
  •  Background in healthcare insurance
  • Experience with EDI, e.g. ANSI 834
